Jul 11, 2023

Wanhua Chemical is set to showcase its latest innovative products at CHINAPLAS 2023, paving the way for endless possibilities. The company has been making waves in various industries, including healthy living, energy efficiency, electronics and more. Additionally, Wanhua Chemical will give a series of technical lectures to introduce its newly PA12, post-consumer recycled materials, bio-based products and others. Attendees can expect to learn about the features and benefits of the company's products, as well as how they are making a sustainable impact on various industries.

High-performance materials empower high quality developmentWANAMID® PA12 series, with its exceptional performance, provides a new choice for a wide variety of industries such as automotive, cable, sports, electronics, new energy, and powder coating. It is known for its low density and water absorption rate, and it also boasts a low friction coefficient and wear rate, as well as excellent cold resistance and impact resistance. Additionally, this high-performance material has superior chemical resistance, weather resistance, hydrolysis resistance, and can be processed through various methods.

Post-consumer recycled materials embrace circular economyWanhua Chemical has launched recycled materials to lay out the low-carbon and environmental protection product chain.

The post-consumer recycled material WANECO®R1050, for example, can reduce CO2 emissions by more than 15% compared to virgin PC materials when more than 30% of it is added to the product. The material also has excellent melt strength, impact resistance, temperature resistance, and other properties, making it an ideal choice for customers' requirements.

PCR-TPU products provide low carbon options for footwear, electronics, cable, automotive, and other industries. One of these products, WANTHANE®G7530, has 30% recycled material content and can help reduce the carbon footprint by approximately 20% while still having excellent mechanical properties, wear resistance, low temperature flexibility, and workability. These characteristics make it an ideal choice for the high quality and environmental requirements of the footwear industry.

Bio-based products boost green consumptionWanhua Chemical has set up a bio-based innovation research and development platform, bringing bio-based material solutions to the industry. These solutions originate from non-food chain corn starch, bio-waste, and natural oils.

WANTHANE®WHT-ECO TPU is made of 10-100% biomass content raw materials. The product can reduce carbon emissions of terminal consumer goods to the greatest extent and constantly improve the low-carbon industrial chain of footwear, film, electronics, and other fields. It is worth noting that WANTHANE®WHT-ECO13595 has been awarded the UL Green Environmental Statement Certification, making it the first bio-based TPU product in the industry to receive UL certification.

The bio-based polyether products, WANOL®FB340 and WANOL®FB350, contain over 50% biomass content, making them ideal for the furniture, automotive, and other industries. These products offer green solutions that can reduce the carbon footprint by 30% to 50% when compared to traditional products. Additionally, WANOL®FB340 and WANOL®FB350 have low odor and low volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions, making them more environmentally friendly. The products made from these materials can even be certified as organic by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Wanhua Chemical, the company behind these innovative products, plans to continue to offer a wide range of solutions that cover post-consumer recycling, biodegradable, and bio-based materials. Their goal is to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals and build a low-carbon and circular world.
